Abstract

This paper is focused on student attitudes of health disciplines to the senior population. This is a current issue since, as suggested demographic data, and in the years to seniors with geriatric care increase. The main objective was to find out what the respondents have a relationship to the senior population. Sub-objectives were to analyze their views on how today's seniors are living in a society where they see the advantages and disadvantages of old age and whether you think it is in educational institutions dedicated to this issue devoted enough time. The survey was processed 142 questionnaires from students of health colleges focus on the Pardubice region. The resulting data were evaluated by tests of independence chi-square (significance level 0,05) and relative frequency.
